ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

1. Parking and Loading Zone
- Three (3) accessible parking spaces, including one (1) van accessible parking
spaces;
- Adequate accessible parking signage at each accessible parking space;
2. Exterior Routes
- There is at least one exterior route that allows persons who use wheelchairs to
approach, enter and use each facility on a given site;
3. Building Entrances & Lobby
- The walkway in front of the lobby door is level;
- There is at least one lobby entrance allow with at least 32” clear passage width;
4. Interior Routes
- Hallways, corridors, lobby, accessible guestrooms, restaurants, etc., are free of any
steps or abrupt vertical level changes that will impede access for persons who use
wheelchairs;
- Doors widths are at least 32”;
- There a full size passenger elevator serving each level of the hotel;
5. Public/Common Use Restrooms
- There is one (1) set of public restrooms
- Each public restroom is accessible, with at least one large accessible stall/toilet,
one accessible lavatory, and one accessible urinal (if urinals are provided);
- Accessible toilets have grab bars installed;
6. Food Service Areas
- At least 5% of each type of fixed table or a portion of eating counters is accessible,
with a 27” high knee space, at least 19” deep, with table/counter top at 28” – 34”
above the floor;
- There is a 36” wide route to the accessible table(s);
